Ocean Trace is the closest spot to the shop Extreme Kites. This spot can also be referred to as "OT". It is a favorite for local kiters because it is close by. It usually does not have many surfers in the water. There is a large flat beach here which makes it great for landboarding on east winds with a low tide. This is a good Kitesurfing spot because the waves can pretty good here on those wavey days. This makes it a good place to get some wave riding with a sideshore wind.

PRECAUTIONS: It can get crowded in the summer and when the weather is good on weekends, so plan accordingly.

It is great when the wind is out of the N, NE, SE, S.
