Information for Kiteboarding 16th Street:
This is not as much of a kite spot as a Kiteboarding launching and landing place. It is mostly used for downwinders. It is 11 miles north of Matanzas Inlet. This allows for great opportunity to ride waves and work on new tricks.
PRECAUTIONS: The beaches can get busy in the the spring and summer. There are a lot of surfers in this area. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM SURFERS AND SWIMMERS. Remember that it is a lot easier for Kiteboarders to catch waves than surfers, so give them the right of way.
